$10M Reno Permit Issued for Updates to Harvard's Medical School Library
A permit valued at over $10M has been pulled for the renovations to Harvard's Countway Medical Library in the Longwood Medical Area. Work will include renovations to the basement, 1 & 2nd floors along with a new extension bridge that will connect the library to Huntington Avenue. Originally built in the 1960s, the Countway Library is one of the largest medical libraries in the world. The building will remain open during construction with work expected to be complete by the Fall of 2020.
