13-Story Condo Project Going Up in Downtown Brooklyn
General contractor, , is currently constructing a 13-story residential project at 9 Chapel Street (alternatively addressed as 219 Jay Street) in Downtown, Brooklyn.
Developed by , the building will exclusively contain condo units, with residences in total. Many of these units will feature private balconies. The building will also have a cellar level, although it's unknown what this will be used for at this time.
Designed by SO-IL, with Kane Architecture serving as the architect of record, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
In November of 2021, Bank Hapoalim issued a $25 million loan to the project team to fund all construction costs. Work is expected to finish by December of 2023 and unit sales are to be handled by Corcoran Group.
