13-Story Condo Project Tops Out in Downtown Brooklyn
General contractor, , has topped out the concrete superstructure of a 13-story residential project, going up at 9 Chapel Street (alternatively addressed as 219 Jay Street) in Downtown, Brooklyn.
Developed by , the building will exclusively contain condo units, with residences in total. Many of these units will feature private balconies. The building will also have a cellar level, although it's unknown what this will be used for at this time.
Designed by SO-IL, with Kane Architecture serving as the architect of record, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
In November of 2021, Bank Hapoalim issued a $25 million loan to the project team to fund all construction costs. Work is expected to finish by December of 2023 and unit sales are to be handled by The Corcoran Group.
