130 Units Proposed for 2 Acre Mclean Site
Plans are under review for a mixed-use project on a 2+ acre site located at 6854, 6856, and 6858 Old Dominion Drive & 6861 Elm Street in Mclean. The applicant, JAG Partners, proposes to replace the existing, aging office buildings with a 6-story project to include 130 units with ground-floor retail envisioned to be anchored with a coffee shop/co-working space. Per the filing, the proposed building honors the elegant, classic lines and materials that are characteristic of McLean, with a modernized form that embraces the sidewalk realm, and more closely connects the residents to the neighborhood in numerous ways.
