$15 Million Raised for Pine Street Inn Project in JP
The Yawkey Foundation has pledged a $15,000,000 grant for the construction of a new Pine Street Inn shelter in Jamaica Plain, marking the donation as the single largest in the shelter's history. Plans call for a redevelopment of the shelter to feature 140 housing units, making the Pine Street Inn project the largest homeless shelter development in the city.
