16-Story Mixed-Use Building Proposed in Jersey City

Developer,

, is proposing a 16-story, mixed-use development, at 248 Erie Street in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The building would contain

rental apartments, with 40 units dedicated to affordable housing. Dwellings would be offered in studio, and one to three-bedroom configurations. Tenant amenities are to include an enclosed rooftop area and a 2,700-square-foot outdoor terrace with an elevated pool deck.

In addition to residential units, plans call for a 150-room hotel, a 970 square-foot cafe on the ground floor, a bicycle storage area, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for

vehicles.

Designed by

, the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet altogether.

The project would preserve and incorporate the primary facades of an existing building at 248 Erie Street, but will demolish an addition that is not original to the structure.
