21-Story Mixed-Use Building Proposed in Downtown St. Petersburg

Developer Stadler Development has submitted plans for a 21-story mixed-use building in downtown St. Petersburg that will offer 213 apartments along with 2,250 square feet of ground level retail space. Stadler Development is under contract to acquire the land. The apartments will be located on the top 14 floors, above a seven-story screened parking garage with 230 spaces. The 0.69-acre site is across from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026. The existing medical building on the site will be demolished. The project will be reviewed by the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission on March 5th and will go before the St. Petersburg City Council at a later date.
