223K SF Lab Conversion Approved for 601 Congress Street
BioMed Realty has won approval for a conversion of 601 Congress Street in the Seaport from a single-tenant office building into a life sciences/office building. The planned 223,000 SF office space will be instead converted into lab and life science uses. The renovations will include reactivation of the ground floor with an approximately 3,000 square foot retail/restaurant space and upgrades to the building entry and common spaces.
