249 residences proposed overlooking Charles River in Brighton
Dinosaur Capital Partners proposes to construct two buildings at 1550 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton, located along the Charles River minutes from the 15.2-acre Boston Landing development and its’ new MBTA commuter rail station, featuring a total of 249 apartment and condominium residences. The development’s main six-story building along Soldiers Field Road would contain 211 market-rate apartments, and a smaller four-story building with the address of 21 Soldiers Field Place would contain 38 affordable condominiums.
The development would replace a two-story, 44,800-square-foot office building with surface parking, and is located just down Soldiers Field Road from Telford 180, an 85-unit market-rate condominium building that sold out prior to its’ completion last Fall. Dinosaur Capital Partners has filed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Boston Planning & Development Agency formally proposing the 1550 Soldiers Field Road development, commencing its’ official review process. The proponent will break ground this spring on 28 Austin Street, a four-story building in Newtonville developed in partnership with Oaktree Development featuring 68 apartment residences and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
