26,000 square feet of new retail proposed in East Boston’s Maverick Square
Linear Retail Properties proposes to construct 9 Chelsea Street, a new two-story, 26,000-square-foot retail building, in the heart of East Boston’s Maverick Square across from the MBTA Blue Line. The building would replace four existing vacant buildings, bringing increased vitality to the rapidly-developing Maverick Square district. Linear has filed a Small Project Review Application (SPRA) for 9 Chelsea Street with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA), who is now reviewing the project.
