26-Story LIC Mixed-Use in Public Review
A 26-story, mixed-use development, proposed for 25-01 Queens Plaza North in Long Island City is currently navigating the public review process. At the start of the year, the project's developer, , submitted an application seeking an authorization and easement certification to facilitate the build. The application was recently reviewed and approved by Queen's Community Board 1, and it will soon be sent to the City Council for further evaluation.
If ultimately approved, the building will contain rental apartments. Approximately 124 of these will be reserved for affordable housing, with the rest of the units going for market rate.
In addition to residential units, the ground floor of the structure will offer square feet of retail space.
Designed by , 25-01 Queens Plaza North will stand feet tall and total square feet. Consigli Construction will lead construction efforts if the project recieves the green light.
