27-Story Tower Trades for $105M in Downtown Brooklyn
A 27-story residential building, located at 7 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, has just been sold for $105 million. The structure was acquired by Avanath Capital Management from the previous owner, The Brodsky Organization, in a deal brokered by Newmark Group.
Opened in 2015 as part of the multi-building, City Point complex, it contains rental apartments.
Tenant amenities include a fitness center, lounge areas, a screening room, a children’s playroom, outdoor terraces, a bike storage facility, and extra storage spaces.
Designed by COOKFOX Architects, with SLCE serving as the architect of record, 7 DeKalb stands feet tall and totals square feet. The building boasts LEED Silver certification and a custom zinc-clad facade that has won awards for its design.
