2M SF Mixed-Use Project Proposed in Ward 7
Cedar Realty Trust & Trammel Crow have submitted plans for a nearly 2M square foot project hoping to create a downtown for Ward 7 at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue, NE and Benning Road, NE. The Northeast Heights Town Center project will include a new signature office building that will be the home of the District of Columbia Department of General Services, a new full-service grocery store (of approximately 70,000 square feet), approximately 1,350 apartment units, and approximately 130,000 square feet of retail/restaurant/service uses. The new project would include 8 structures with parking for around 1250 vehicles on site.
