Drexel Village Update 05/20/21

3 Bids Released for Roxbury Crescent Parcel

In response to the RFP put out by the City of Boston, 3 proposals have been submitted in a bid to develop Roxbury's Crescent Parcel.

OnyxGroup has submitted plans for a 164-unit mixed-use development called "Cass Crossing." Plans call for 40,000 SF of ground-floor commercial and community space.

The second proposal, from the community organization Planning Office of Urban Affairs and J. Garland Enterprises, features a 217-unit development named Drexel Village. Plans call for two buildings  on the corner of Tremont and Ruggles streets featuring space for POUA's parish.

The third bid submitted came from a partnership between Trinity Financial and Madison Park Development Corporation. The submitted plans call for a 177-unit development featuring a public plaza along Melnea Cass Boulevard that would preserve the street's threatened trees as well as 3,000 SF of programmable space.
