$33.5M Permit Pulled For Alexandria Office to Residential Conversion

A permit valued at $33,500,000.00 has been pulled for the conversion of the former office building at 4900 Seminary Road in Alexandria VA to residential with ground-floor retail. The roughly 200,000 square foot building is set to include 213 apartments plus around 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Amenities will include individual storage spaces throughout the building, a parking garage connected by a covered walkway, and adjacent greenspace to be utilized as outside lounge areas, community gardens and a large dog park. The conversion is expected to finish in 2022.
