4-Story Addition Under Review for Kenmore Square Property
An estimated $10M vertical addition proposed for a commercial property in Kenmore Square is under official review by the Boston Planning and Development Agency. Developer William Thibeault, in partnership with Khalsa Design, submitted a Small Project Review Application to add 4 stories onto 601 Newbury Street, a 3-story underutilized building facing the Mass Pike.
The project would create 44,899 SF of new space at the site and include a mix of market-rate residential units as well as retail space due to its proximity to Fenway Park.
