40-Unit Mixed-Use Project Approved in Newark
Newark’s Zoning Board recently approved a 5-story, mixed-use development, proposed at 573 Central Avenue in the city's Fairmount section.
Developed by and designed by Comito Associates, the building will contain rental apartments, offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations. Tenant amenities are to include a rooftop deck, a fitness center, a bicycle storage space, and parking spaces with a number of electric vehicle charging stations. Plans also call for square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The square foot project site is vacant and is partially used as a parking lot.
