440 Penn St. NE Nears Completion
440 Penn Street is nearing completion on the 13 story, mixed-use apartment building with retail on the 1st floor at DC’s thriving Union Market. When completed, the building will consist of residential amenity areas on the 2nd and Penthouse floors including a Fitness Center and provide a two rooftop courtyards, green roof, pool, outdoor grilling stations, indoor kitchen area, party room, lounge and game area. The parking garage will consist of retail and residential parking areas. The site is formerly home to the Maurice Electric Supply Co. The warehouse portion of the building has been demolished and the two-story showroom will be incorporated into the new development.
