$5.685M Permit Pulled for Rooftop Renovations to the Newbury Boston
A permit valued at $5.685M has been pulled for rooftop renovations at the Newbury Boston (formerly the Taj Hotel). The work calls for selective demo plus masonry restoration, glazing, drywall, and paint. Also included is new electrical that will provide a core and shell for the future restaurant that will occupy the renovated rooftop. This work is part of the larger renovation that will also move the hotel's main entrance to Newbury Street and update the existing guest rooms. Construction is expected to wrap in 2020.
