5-Story Hotel Project Underway in Morris Heights
Construction appears to be back underway for a 5-story commercial building, set to rise at 1665 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx's Morris Heights neighborhood. Around this time last year, an excavator was seen on site digging the foundation, but work then went stagnant. Just a couple of weeks ago, however, general contractor, , successfully obtained a new building permit for the project, which indicates that the build will finally resume again.
Developed by Jerome Hotel Holdings LLC, the building will contain a hotel, offering 60 guest rooms. Plans also call for a cellar level, and a small parking area, with space for 4-vehicles.
Designed by , 1665 Jerome Avenue will stand feet tall and total square feet. The estimated date of completion has not been announced yet.
