Fish Field House Update 08/14/18

$52.6 Million Field House Now Open

Boston College has opened its new Athletics field house, a $52.6 million, 115,700 square-foot facility that will provide indoor practice space for BC football and other varsity sports. The Fish Field House features a full regulation field with an AstroTurf playing surface, and a 12,000 square-foot strength and conditioning center.

The Fish Field House is part of a $200 million investment in facilities that include new baseball, softball, and intramural fields in the Harrington Athletics Village on the Brighton Campus, and the 240,000 square-foot Connell Recreation Center, which will open in the summer of 2019.

The project was completed on schedule using Touchplan, a construction software that allows developers to plan, implement, and monitor projects in their entirety. The innovative software gives developers the ability to see the full spectrum of their project down to every last detail. Touchplan has let developers keep their projects on or ahead of time leading to lower costs and more efficient construction.
