525 South Wabash Avenue Project Proposes Increasing Height
The development team between the 525 South Wabash project is seeking changes to the originally approved 36 and 23-story towers. The mixed-use development was approved to have 577 residential units, 314 hotel rooms, ground floor retail, and parking for 151 vehicles. The team is now proposing to slightly increasing the 23-story hotel tower to 24-stories and raising the number of hotel rooms to 405. The project will be seeking approval at the August 19th Chicago Plan Commission meeting.
