529-Unit Residential Tower Approved in Jersey City

The Jersey City Planning Board recently green-lit a 47-story, residential tower project, set for 20 Long Slip in Jersey City's Newport development neighborhood.

Developed by , the building is set to contain apartments, offered in one to four-bedroom configurations. Most of the units will feature private balconies.

The building will have an amenities deck on the 6th floor, offering a 2,730-square-foot wraparound terrace, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a game room, and a co-working area. Plans also call for square feet of ground-floor retail space, a bicycle storage area, and an open parking lot.

Designed by Arquitectonica, with Hill West serving as the architect of record, 20 Long Slip will stand feet tall and total square feet. Built on the banks of the Hudson River, many of the building's units will boast fantastic, unobstructed views of the Manhattan Skyline. The development will also be located just a stone's throw away from Hoboken Terminal, providing easy access to NY Waterway's ferry services, NJ Transit, PATH, and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail.
