530 Unit Mixed-Use Project Proposed Along W. Glebe Road
Alexandria Housing Development Corp is planning a two-building mixed-use project to feature a total of 530 apartments and nearly 15,000 square feet of retail space on the nearly 3-acre site along West Glebe Road & Mount Vernon Avenue. The project would replace an existing shopping center, formerly home to Safeway, and a surface parking lot owned by the city. The project also includes a 371-space parking garage.
