$5M Building Permit Issued for South End Shelter
A construction permit valued at $5,018,000 has been issued for the Woods Mullen Shelter in Boston's South End. Plans call for a 3-story addition to an existing five-story commercial building. Bed space at the shelter will increase from 220 to 248.
Woods Mullen Shelter is located on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue, Melnea Cass Blvd, and Albany Street in Boston's South End. The shelter is part of the larger BUSM Campus.
