68-Story Midtown Skyscraper Begins to Rise

Construction crews have now formed the bottom tier of the concrete superstructure for a 68-story, mixed-use tower project, going up at 100 West 37th Street in Midtown, Manhattan.

Developed by 

, the building will contain residential condo units and 86,817 square feet of commercial space. While it's still unclear as to what the commercial portion of the building will be used for, it's likely that it will consist of both retail and office space. Plans also call for two cellar levels.

Designed by 

, with   serving as the general contractor, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction is expected to finish sometime in 2026.
