76-Story Supertall Tops Out in Midtown

General contractor, 

, utilizing the manpower and expertise of subcontractor, Highbury Concrete, has topped out the superstructure of a 76-story, mixed-use tower project, going up at 520 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan's Midtown neighborhood.

Standing

feet tall, this behemoth is now the 2nd tallest building on 5th Avenue (ranked only behind the Empire State Building) and the 17th tallest building in all of NYC.

Developed by 

, the tower is set to contain luxury condo units,  square feet of office area, and square feet of commercial space, consisting of restaurants and retail shops. Planned tenant amenities are to include a fitness center with a spa, a swimming pool, and a recreational sports area.

Designed by 

, 520 Fifth Avenue will total square feet altogether.

Construction is estimated to take until the summer of 2026, and the project is being propelled by a $540 million financing package, which was issued back in March of 2022. The package includes $410 million, supplied by Bank OZK, and an additional $130 million, brought forth by The Carlyle Group.
