8-Story Mixed-Use Approved in Springfield Gardens
An 8-story, mixed-use development, proposed for 146-93 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Springfield Gardens, Queens, has just been approved by the NYC Mayor's Office. The green light comes about a year after the developer, , submitted an application requesting zoning map and text amendments.
The building will have rental apartments, with approximately 13 units dedicated to affordable housing. The development will also have square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor. Plans additionally call for a cellar, and outdoor parking spaces.
Designed by , the structure is set to stand feet tall and total square feet. The lot is currently unimproved, and no demolition will be required when work begins.
