807 Maine Avenue SW NOT Approved
The application for 807 Maine Ave SW was not approved, as revealed in a recording of the zoning committee public hearing.
The main concerns expressed by the members regarded a lack of affordable housing.
Currently, 30 of the 207 units are designated as affordable.
"The Commission discussed party status and it was not approved due to a lack of a majority vote (2-2-1). The Commission further discussed whether the case was read to move forward with the hearing or not and in the end, discussed some issues they still had, and postponed it until November 14th at 4:00 p.m. Party status requests will still be entertained if filed on time."
