95,000 square foot charter school approved in Mattapan
The Brooke Charter High School, a 95,000 square foot school building that will accommodate approximately 780 students in grades eight through 12, was approved at last Thursday (March 16th)’s Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board Meeting. The building will provide Brooke Charter School with new classroom and recreational space and will provide the school with a permanent home for its’ recently introduced high school program. Construction of the building is anticipated to commence this Spring, with occupancy expected by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year.
