260 Gold Street Update 02/13/23

Affordable Housing Lottery Kicks Off for 260 Gold Street

NYC Housing Connect has launched an affordable housing lottery for a new apartment building, located at 260 Gold Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

Developed by Bruman Realty LLC, and sold this past summer to Dalan Management , the 13-story structure was completed relatively recently in October of 2021. It contains rental apartments altogether, but since most of these were already sold at market rate, the lottery will consist of just 86 units. These will be offered to those who make between $76,835 and $215,150 or fall within 130% of the area median income (AMI).

The building's tenant amenities include a fitness center, residential lounge, theater, game room, co-working area, children's room, pet spa, bicycle storage, and a roof terrace. There is also an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

With interiors envisioned by StudiosC Architecture, many of the building's common areas feature beautiful touches, such as the multi-story waterfall found in the lobby.

Designed by , 260 Gold Street stands feet tall and totals square feet. Bruman Realty built the property under NYC's 421a tax-abatement program, thus exempting them from paying taxes in exchange for including the 86 affordable units available in this lottery.
