Alabama-based Poarch Band of Creek Indians Acquires Magic City Casino in Miami, Fl 

On Monday, PCI Gaming Authority closed on the 305,624-square-foot casino for $96 million. The property includes a license to operate slot machines, poker and electronic casino games in Miami. PCI purchased the property from   the Havenick family, who has owned the site since the 1950s.

A subsidiary of PCI, Wind Creek Hospitality plans to redevelop a closed dog track that sits on the site into a luxury resort adjacent to the casino that could feature a shopping mall and “experience-oriented attractions
