Alderman Approves New Sports Facility at DePaul
A plan for a new three-story athletic facility at DePaul University in Lincoln Park has received approval from Alderman Timmy Knudsen. The facility will feature modern locker rooms, a team dining hall with a nutrition bar, a sports medicine treatment area with a hydrotherapy room, offices, a training room, and two full-sized basketball courts with floor-to-ceiling windows. This $60 million development will also include the renovation and modernization of the Sullivan Athletic Center and McGrath-Phillips Arena, located at 2323 N Sheffield Avenue.
