Amazon Reveals Plans for Phase 2 of HQ2
Amazon has submitted plans for phase two of their Arlington HQ2 including what will be the focal point of the campus, The Helix. The spiraling, 350-foot tower would feature 370,000 square feet of office along with two spiraling outdoor walkways complete with trees and plants from Virginia. Plans for Phase 2 also include Phase three additional 22-story office buildings featuring 2.8 million square feet plus an outdoor amphitheater and a dog run. This new cluster of buildings is expected to house around 13,000 employees with the first buildings in the second phase set to open in 2025.
