Another DC Office Building Slated for Residential Conversion
Urban Atlantic has filed plans to convert the office building at 1735 K Street NW into a mixed-use program that will operate as a hybrid lodging and residential use. Per the filing, the hybrid use will be operated by Placemakr. Placemakr (formerly known as WhyHotel) expects to operate the B=building with a mix of stays ranging from a short nightly stay to a traditional apartment length. The project would feature around 100 units as well as hospitality-like amenities and ground-floor retail space.
