CambridgeSeven has completed renovations to the residential units and shared public spaces at One Devonshire – a 45-story tower in downtown Boston that was originally completed in the 1980s. The design team used their expertise in hospitality trends to instill a modern, chic new aesthetic into the rental apartments and public spaces. Recent renovations to the business center, fitness, and yoga rooms, and lounge areas bring beautiful new finishes, more access to daylight, and upgraded furnishings. What was once a spiral staircase between the 41st and 42nd floors is now an open, daylit atrium with lounge chairs and sculptural lighting. Residents can now enjoy expansive views to the Charles River. CambridgeSeven also opened up the fitness center to make more space for designated cardio and weight training spaces. Renovations to the apartments, main lobby, corridors, and pool room are ongoing as part of a larger effort to modernize the building’s interiors. This collaborative project with the owner-Ruben Companies, leasing agent-Bozutto and design team has led to a transformative and successful project.
