Apartment Community Proposed in North Miami

Developers Strategic Properties and Continua Developments have submitted plans to the North Miami Planning Commission for a new apartment community. Urbania Nomi 6th Ave is a proposed mixed-use multi-family residential development consisting of 240 units. The proposed development is an 11-story building with a height of 105 feet and 21,967 square feet of commercial and retail space on the ground level, directly accessible to the surrounding community and neighborhood along NE 6th avenue and NE 127th street. The 2-level podium, fully screened, provides 339 parking spaces, including 45 designated for hybrid/eco-efficient vehicles. The recreation and amenity deck covers the parking and includes 6,044 square feet of enclosed areas as a media room, social area, lounge, and a gym that extends outside to the open amenity and pool deck of 20,068 square feet. The area accommodates outdoor lounge areas, a yoga lawn, summer kitchens, pool, and jacuzzi. The residential tower’s orientation provides a full west exposure to the outdoor areas.
