Application Process Progresses for Staten Island Tower Development
The River North mixed-use development that's been proposed for Staten Island's St.George neighborhood is currently in public review. Over the last few weeks, developer, Richmond SI Owner LLC has been able to check more regulatory steps off the list as it seeks to obtain a land-use application (with zoning map and text amendments). The City Planning Commission has finished reviewing the proposal, and a public hearing was held on July 28th. Now the project is waiting on a post-hearing follow-up, and the final environmental impact statement has been filed. This indicates that a City Planning Commission vote is coming within the next week or so as the final EIS is required to be filed 10 days prior.
