Archer Towers Rises High in Jamaica
If nothing else is an indication of just how large the Archer Towers project has become over the last few months, then our growing inability to snap wide-angled shots from the train sure is! is leading the charge as it works to construct the 24-story, Jamaica development. With just a few floors left to form, the concrete superstructure is expected to top out relatively soon.
Developed by BRP Companies, and designed by , the building will contain 605 housing units. Set to total over 540,000 square feet, it will also boast 20,000 square feet of amenity space, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for 224 vehicles.
Construction is currently progressing at a rate of roughly one floor per week. Pretty soon we should start to see the installation process begin for the facade and insulating materials. The project was originally supposed to finish this past summer, but due to the pandemic delaying the start of the build, it's likely that work will stretch into 2023.
