Archer Towers Tops Out in Jamaica
General contractor, , has finally topped out the 24-story, Archer Towers project in Jamaica, Queens. The completed superstructure represents a big milestone for the build as it caps off nearly 7 months of slip forming and above-ground concrete work.
In addition to reaching final height, crews have begun to install facade materials on the middle floors of the building.
Developed by BRP Companies and designed by , the tower is set to contain apartments, including 181 affordable housing units. It will also boast 20,000 square feet of amenities.
In addition to residential space, Archer towers will have square feet of retail and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. With the superstructure complete, the development now totals over 540,000 square feet. Construction is expected to finish sometime in 2023.
