Baker Hollow Logistics Center to Gain Another Building in Windsor
The Baker Hollow Logistics Center in Windsor, Connecticut, is set to receive a major addition, coming in the form of a second building, later this year.
Given the identifier, "Building 205", and to be formally addressed as 205 Baker Hollow Road, the Class-A industrial warehouse will be a sister structure to Building 105, which was just completed this year. Developed by , it will total square feet and boast 32-foot interior ceiling clearances.
Designed by , the facility will come equipped with 36 loading dock doors, 1 drive-in door, and 45 trailer parking spaces, with an option to add an additional 58 trailer spots. It will also feature 46’ x 52’ column spacing, with a 60’ x 52’ speed bay, a full ESFR sprinkler system, and an exterior parking area for employees, with enough room for vehicles.
Located just 1.9 miles from I-91, a 15-minute drive from Hartford, a 20-minute drive from Springfield, MA, and roughly 2-hour drives from both Boston and New York City, the development will provide easy transportation connectivity to several major population centers.
will serve as the general contractor for the project and leasing is being handled by JLL. Construction is slated to begin later this year, and work is ultimately expected to finish by the spring of 2024.
