BCDC Approves South Boston Power Plant Design
The Boston Civic Design Commission has approved designs for a 1.93 million square foot redevelopment of the South Boston Power Plant. The BPDA will vote on the project later this month. Plans call for 1,344 residential units, 368,070 square feet of office space, a 344-key hotel, and 85,630 square feet of retail and restaurant space for the decommissioned Southie power plant.
