Bed-Stuy Mixed-Use Project Navigates Public Review

A 9-story, mixed-use building, proposed for 6 Howard Avenue in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant area has cleared the first hurdle of the public review process. Back in October, , submitted an application requesting a FRESH certification to facilitate  square feet of commercial space within the structure. This has now been reviewed by the Community Board, and land use applications have officially been filed. Developed by, , the building would contain approximately rental units, spread across square feet. Designed by,  it would total square feet. The project site comes in the form of a vacant lot, which has been leveled and unoccupied for well over a decade.
