Bensonhurst Retail Building Trades for $28M
A 2-story commercial building, located at 6502 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, has just traded hands for $28 million. The structure was purchased by BLDG Management from the previous owner, Wharton Properties.
Originally constructed in 1935, the building received subsequent renovations, first in 1985, and more recently in 2018. It exclusively contains retail, with square feet of leasable space. The current tenants include a Chipotle location and a City MD Urgent Care facility. Wharton Properties is parting ways with the property after a 23-year ownership stint, having purchased the building back in January of 1999.
