Boston East superstructure nears topping off
Wood framing of Boston East’s six-story superstructure is well underway and has reached as high as the fifth story at the north wing of the East Boston Waterfront development and the second story at the south. Steel erection of Boston East’s ground-floor podium and center pedestrian atrium is complete. Masonry elevator cores have topped off for both building wings. Opening in Fall 2017, Boston East will feature 200 residential apartments and will activate the East Boston Waterfront with a Harborwalk extension, a boat launch and exhibition space.
