The Icon at 530 Western Avenue approved for construction
The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved The Icon for construction at this month’s board meeting. Located at 530 Western Avenue in Allston, The Icon will contain 132 residential units, 17 of which will be designated affordable, and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Construction of The Icon is anticipated to start this summer. Anticipated opening of The Icon is in fall 2017.
