Kimpton Hotel Update 04/30/15

Continuum plans $98M hotel-office complex at Denver Union Station. Continuum Partners LLC Wednesday rolled out plans for a $98 million hotel-office-retail complex on one of the last undeveloped plots of land near Denver Union Station. The project is planned for the corner of 16th and Wewatta streets, near the Union Station commuter train platform. Plans call for a 12-story, 200-room Kimpton hotel with space for two restaurants alongside a five-story office building with ground-floor retail and a 200-spot underground parking complex with 100 public spaces, Denver-based Continuum said. San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group LLC already operates Denver's Hotel Monaco and the Sky Hotel in Aspen. Continuum is part of a joint venture with East West Partners of Denver called the Union Station Neighborhood Co. (USNC), which is the master developer of the 19.5-acre site around Union Station. The area has drawn an enormous amount of office and housing development activity.
