Codman Square single-story building sells for $1.58 million, sold for $55,000 in 1999
This past Monday (July 25th, 2016), Washington Codman Square LLC acquired 493 Washington Street, an 8,008 square foot single-story building in Dorchester's Codman Square, for $1.58 million as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. Washington Codman Square LLC also secured a $869,000 mortgage for 493 Washington Street on Monday through Cathay Bank. 493 Washington Street is situated on a 9,690 square foot parcel and is occupied by the Full Life Gospel Center church, which acquired the building in 1999 for $55,000. In 1978, the former owner acquired the building for $25,000. Washington Codman Square LLC, established in May 2016 to own and manage real estate, is managed by Yijie Dai and Jin Yue Zhang of Quincy, MA.
