Plans filed for 95 new Dudley Square apartments with over 11,000 office and retail square feet


Developer Cruz Development Corporation has filed a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) containing detailed plans for the proposed mixed-use development at 280-290 Warren Street in Roxbury’s Dudley Square; the following is a link to the PNF. A Letter of Intent (LOI) for 280-290 Warren Street was filed with the BPDA in July 2016; the following is a link to the LOI.


The project would construct two buildings across two phases with a total of 95 residential rental units, including 44 units of elderly housing, and approximately 11,334 square feet of ground-floor office and retail space. Office space would be occupied by approximately 45 Cruz Development Corporation employees.


Three largely vacant single-story buildings located on site would be demolished. The developer expects to commence Phase 1 construction in the 1st Quarter of 2018, with expected completion of Phase 2 in the 4th Quarter of 2020.
