Renovated Copley Square library reopens
The fully-renovated Johnson Building of the Boston Public Library's Central Library reopened Saturday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Martin J. Walsh. With new clear glass windows along the facade and an open interior floor plan, the renovations have made the library brighter and more inviting. Other improvements include a revamped lecture hall, a new innovation center and 21st century cutting-edge technology improvements.
